Each year, we lose a Texan to suicide every two hours.  Suicide is the 2nd leading cause of death for youth and young adults.  Our older and rural Texans and Texas veterans especially need our help. 

Since 2001, Texans have worked together to make our state suicide safer.  The Texas Suicide Prevention Collaborative provides suicide prevention technical assistance, resources and training to communities and partners across our state.
